• Just ignore the coming call (just tap Discard button). After ignoring the call you can find that R.Leader has stopped its previous recording as follows. In this case, you can save the previous recording and start recording again.

• Answer the coming call. In this case, iPhone terminates R.Leader in order to run its Phone application. After finishing call, iPhone restarts R.Leader. However, you do not have to worry about loosing your valuable recording. R.Leader keeps your previous recording in a file in ‘Items not in folders‘ folder.

In this case, you can think about two types of your reactions:

• Just read the message and ignore it (just tap Close button). In this case, R.Leader continues to record.
• Reply the message. In this case, iPhone terminates R.Leader in order to run its SMS application. However, you do not have to worry about loosing your recording. R.Leader keeps the recording in a file in ‘Items not in folders‘ folder.

Once you tap R.Leader icon on iPhone, you can see a big red button at the center on the display. As you can imagine, that is  Recording button. Before tapping Recording button, select a recording quality if needed. Quality selection can be done in the Quality Selection view. You can go to the Quality Selection view by tapping Quality button.The default quality is ‘Good CD Quality’. In most cases, you don’t need to change recording quality. We recommend this quality.

Now it’s ready to record. Just tap the big red Recording button. You can find that recording begins. While recording, if you need, you can pause recording by just tapping Recording button again. And want to resume recording again? Tap Recording button again.

Or you want to do recording unnoticeably? Press Sleep/wake button of iPhone. The recording process is very intuitive. It’s like you are using common recording devices.

Once recording has been done, just tap Stop button. Then you can see Preview and Save button are activated. You can check the recorded file before saving the file in the Preview view. Finally, you save a recorded file in the Save view if everything is ok. That’s it!

• When you press Home button of iPhone while R.Leader is in the process of recording. The recorded file until then is put to this folder so that user can use that file later. R.Leader does not loose that file.
• When you answer a coming call while R.Leader is in the process of recording. In this case, you can find that R.Leader comes back to its initial status because phone program in iPhone kills R.Leader and then reactivate it. This is almost the same case as when you press Home button of iPhone. As you imagine, R.Leader does not loose a recorded file up to that point and keeps that file in ‘Items not in folders’ folder.

She prepares recording before entering the meeting room to make every customer’s needs to be recorded for later use.

However, she does not want to disturb her client by showing that she is recording her client’s voice right in front of the client.

So she thinks she’s going to record her meeting without client’s notice.

She taps R.Leader icon to start R.Leader installed on her iPhone.

And then she clicks the big red button on the center, that is Recording button, to start recording.

After checking the recording has been started, she presses iPhone’s Sleep/wake button so that she wants to make her client not to be disturbed by her recording (Check how to record voice unnoticeably).

Now she enters the meeting room where her client is waiting. She puts iPhone on the table with iPhone’s built-in microphone towards her client.

While talking with her client, she’s got a message from one of her friends.

She shortly checks her message and then presses iPhone’s Sleep/wake button again. Her client just thinks that Julie’s got a message. And Julie has no worries about recording since she knows that R.Leader continues recording even when iPhone’s got messages while recording. Julie keeps talking with her client. Suddenly she’s got a call from her boss.

She answers the phone after saying sorry to her client.

After finishing her talk on the phone, she taps the big red button of R.Leader again by pretending to hang up the phone.

And she presses the iPhone’s Sleep/wake button again. (Check what happens when I have got a phone call while recording?)

Finally the meeting is over.

After the meeting, she presses iPhone’s Home button and slides bar to unlock the display.

She notices that R.Leader is running. She taps Stop button and then saves recorded file by tapping Save button.

She also can check there is one more recorded file in ‘Items not in floders‘ folder, which is because she’s got a sudden call from her boss while meeting with her client. (Check what does the number on the application badge mean?)

Finally, she succeeds to record her customer meeting.

• Press Sleep/wake button of your iPhone after pressing Recording button (a big red button at the center).

Once you press Sleep/wake button of your iPhone, iPhone goes into the sleep mode. In this mode, iPhone looks like to be powered off because the entire screen is black. But R.Leader still keep working for you. After finishing recording, press Sleep/wake button or Home button of your iPhone. Then you can find that R.Leader is running.
